The Morris, the better
Apologies for the late email. I've been working on a manuscript and it's deadline-o-clock. When a project has you bogged down, are you tempted to start more? I am, but I'll have to be patient. I've got to finish forty pages before the weekend's out, but then I get to enjoy something new...
Have I mentioned my mania re: Strawberry Thief? It's one of my favorite surface designs. If I could, I'd have it on everything; we drew all the colors in our house from it. When we closed on the place, our realtor gave us a painting of our parrot bearing ill-gotten berries in his beak. Free Spirit's Bexleyheath collection features classic Morris designs on lightweight, breathable cotton lawn. Once I knock out these pages, I'm going to make the SILLIEST peasant blouse.

Parking at Treadle Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot. You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station. Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking! |
