SO. Many. New. Knits.

Hey, folks. I'm sitting here in the store while it's closed because I needed to get out of the house. Chances are you need to take your mind off the day, too. Let's chat about these new knits: all cotton/spandex, all sturdy, springy, and so much fun!

A panoply of choices! I might feel intimidated, if I didn't already know what to make-- the good ol' reliable Cashmerette Concord tee. We have it in sizes 0-16; if you don't want to wait for us to restock, buy the larger size range in PDF and we can print it for you!

Have your fair share of tees already? Layer up with the perfectly-slouchy Jalie Karine sweater, or make the store-favorite Stella leggings!

You might have seen Rebecca's lovely chambray Haxby on a dress form, but I convinced her to model it for us:

... which meant she had to divest herself of winter wear, thus the bare feet. I don't recommend going unshod at Treadle: too many pins! Haxby's a great pattern for any occasion, but especially party or holiday wear. If you'd like your own flattering, versatile, and wonderfully swishy skirt, sign up for our new two-session class starting Saturday the 9th. Class costs include the pattern-- and you're getting advice from Rebecca, who's one of the best seamstresses we know. (She works for the Opera, folks!)

Parking at Treadle

Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot.

You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station.

Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking!
