After several years in retail, I know it's never, ever, ever too early to start shopping for the holidays. Becky restocked our antique buttons this week, so make sure to stop by and browse them (they're not available online!). But she also brought these fabulous Christmas cards: high-quality prints on art paper and sturdy bookboard, each one dotted with gorgeous glass buttons and topped with a star. Cards are $15 each. Display them on the mantel or put the buttons to use-- they're lovely either way. Or pick up a project for Advent: either an adorable panel printed with everything you need or a fun kit with panel, felt, and ribbon! Parking at Treadle Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot. You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station. Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking! |
