You'll FALL for these fabrics...

We got another incredible shipment of Japanese fabrics. I love the rich autumnal tones and gorgeous nature-inspired prints! You know that irresistable urge you get to step on crunchy leaves, or to toss handfuls of them in the air? I feel the same way right now. I want to squish, squash, pet, and snuggle with abandon!

LEAVES AND WILDFLOWERS CORDUROY, GOLD
Terrific lightweight corduroy. This will make an amazing button-up or shift dress, but I'd LOVE to see it as a pair of Closet Core Jenny overalls!
ABSTRACT LEAF SWIRL, STORM
100% cotton with a wonderfully dry touch and gorgeous drape. I want it in a peasant blouse, or maybe the Remy raglan!
BOTANICAL WILDFLOWERS, MUSHROOM
Looks just like eco-printing! The right side is brushed, and it's irresistably soft.
FOLKTALE GARDEN, BRIGHT
PERFECTION ITSELF. I'm obsessed with this art nouveau-inspired print. It's perfect for quilting or apparel, and you HAVE to see it next to an indigo or teal. The contrast is dazzling!

RETRO-SPECTIVE

We got some fabulous retro patterns in the fall Butterick shipment. I couldn't let them go unseen in the cabinet! And lest we forget: Big 4 patterns? Incredible value. You could pay $24 American dollars for an untested PDF, or... just 7.99.

I'm not too overfond of the fifties kitsch look, and that's the only thing that would've kept me from these. But, wonderfully, they've started to issue 70s, 80s, and 90s classics-- and while it hurts to contemplate the neverending march of time, I looooove Laura Ashley. (Eighties baby. Duh.) In fact, I had to gather all their siblings. You can browse these and dozens more in-store, on the pattern grid and in a handy-dandy box in the counter.
