Fresh cotton/flax prints just in!

NEW ARRIVALS

I've been especially excited for this inventory to arrive (especially those doves: BIRDS? on MAGENTA? this bolt was made for me): three prints on a robust but lovely cotton/linen blend, perfect for anything from sturdy work shirts to lighter-weight bottoms! You'll find them in our linen section along with a bunch of new Essex and Brussels Washer. I'd recommend the Burnside bibs (sizes 0-20, 18-34) or Reed skirt (sizes 14-30), both pictured, but I'm combining the bubbles 'n birds in a two-color quilt.

It's fair to say I can't play favorites with our kids' camp attendees, especially since they've been delights to a one-- but Leona definitely comes close. She's wildly prodigious (SO. MANY. PROJECTS!!), enough so that she came back after camp to finish up her final project:

It's a lovely cap sleeve A-line dress with a keyhole closure from a big 4* pattern (I'm sorry, I'm not sure which!) in linen, a sometimes-tricky fabric new to her-- and she handled it admirably!

* I can't be the only one to constantly confuse this with publishing's big 5, can I?

We're coming to the end of the summer! As promised, the fall schedule is on its way-- expect it in a week or so. Let's count down the rest of the season's classes!
