Bethany made this in the Copy Ready-to-Wear class, using a heavy canvas original to make her own pattern. Look for the class on our summer schedule (coming soon!).

One of the best things I've ever purchased at Treadle was my parrot.

No, not Papaya (above right)-- I mean my Purse Parrot, a super-sharp and super-cute pair of embroidery scissors in a protective psittacine pouch! They come in lime green and bright blue* and they cut crisp as a cockatoo's beak. That isn't difficult for a pair of scissors, sure, but you'd still better be cautious with a cockatoo's beak.

WEEKEND SEWING HALF-MARATHON SATURDAY APR. 6TH 10AM - 5PM	It's our Weekend Sewing Marathon, but just one day! Bring the project of your choice and get all the help you need from your instructor.
SEW GOOD GOODS TUESDAY APR. 9TH ALL DAY!	Sign up to join our monthly FREE event to sew for a good cause! Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours and help us create projects for those in need. (Project and organization will vary.)
FRIDAY SEWING SOCIAL FRIDAY APR. 12TH 5PM - 9PM	Come to our space every second Friday of the month to sew and socialize! Bring a project, a snack, a friend, and yourself for some good fun and friendship.

Parking at Treadle

Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot.

You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station.

Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking!
