Sew for a cause: sign up for February 13th's
Sew Good Goods ! Bring your machine or reserve one of ours and create for people in need. We'll sew pillowcases for the Bimosedaa apartments , a new affordable housing development for members of the Native community moving out of homelessness.

Give a Valentine to yourself: sign up for classes! They'll last longer than a box of conversation hearts.

THRIFT FLIP FRIDAY 2/16, 6PM - 9PM Have pants or jeans that need a hem? A dress or skirt that doesn't fit quite right? This workshop will teach you tips and techniques for altering ready to wear. Put new life into the clothes you love but you haven't been wearing!
HAND EMBROIDERY MONDAY 2/19, 6PM - 9PM Learn the simplest and most effective stitches: stem stitch, French knots, feather stitch, and more. You'll learn how to transfer designs to fabric, the easiest way to thread a needle, and how to block finished embroidery. Practice on your “embroidery sketchbook” and pick your favorites!
COPY READY-TO-WEAR THURSDAYS 2/22 THROUGH 3/14, 6PM - 9PM Have something you've worn to death, but just can't part with? Give new life to old garments! Make a pattern (without taking your old favorite apart) and sew a new one. You'll learn how to copy an existing garment, create a pattern, and sew a wearable test.
SERGER BASICS FRIDAY 2/23, 6PM - 9PM Are you afraid to take your new serger out of the box? Maybe you've had one for years, but you've never figured it out. We'll help you solve mystery of threading and get you serging!

PARKING AT TREADLE

Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot. You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station.

Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking!
