Treadle Make Tuesday Every Tuesday we share projects from Treadle Yard Goods employees (a.k.a. The Treadlettes) and our customers and fans! Jen recently finished this stylish shirtdress in class! Using black linen and the Matilda pattern from Megan Neilsen, Jen's new dress is a wardrobe staple! Jen spent a couple Weekend Sewing Marathon classes working on this project, spending time on muslin mock-ups to tweak the fit and trying lots of new techniques. The final element was choosing buttons, and we got the whole class to weigh in. Jen went with these deep red shinies for an elegant contrast. Want to be featured on Treadle Make Tuesday? Parking at Treadle Convenient street parking is available on Grand, Hamline, Lincoln, and nearby side streets. Treadle also has access to an off-street parking lot. You can park in the Green Mill/Colossal Cafe lot from 10-4 Monday through Thursday. Find it diagonally across the street, next to the gas station. Coming to a class? You are always welcome to stop briefly in front of the store to drop off your things before you look for parking! |
