Ugandan hospital sends thanks!

Treadle Make Tuesday

Every Tuesday we share projects from Treadle Yard Goods employees (a.k.a. The Treadlettes) and our customers and fans!

Melvyna made this amazing coat in our Continuing On classes with Michele. She used an indigo dyed fabric similar to mud cloth in combination with a navy blue wool melton.

She added godets for extra fullness and added a custom draped collar. We're so impressed with the beautiful job she did!

See more pictures here at the blog post!

Feedback from Uganda

Did you participate in our Sew Good Goods sewing events in the last couple months? The baby blankets we made and sent to Ruth Gaylord Hospital in Uganda were well received and appreciated! See the letter below from the hospital director, Peter Kiggundu.

I would like to thank you, on behalf of the dozens of mothers who are receiving baby Blankets, for the love you have showed towards them. We are all very grateful for this generous contribution to the experience of receiving a baby in a warm Blanket. Given the superior quality of the fabric of this material compared to what we have on the local market, they are so popular and loved by the mothers. Thank you so much.

Warm regards,
Peter Kiggundu, C.E.O
