| Open during construction We're sprucing up the place! New carpet is coming in starting TODAY, and we will remain open regular hours. We're laying down carpet tiles in sections so hopefully we can keep operations seamless. (pun intended!) If you've wondered why the store is a little less full than usual lately, well this is why. Once we redo our floors we can't wait to fill up with more beautiful fabrics. |

| Treadlette Tuesday It's Treadlette Tuesday, when we share projects, inspiration, and ideas for you from our lovely Treadle Yard Goods employees, The Treadlettes! Julia made the Tania Coatigan from Jalie! Just like it sounds, a coatigan combines all the best features of a coat and a cardigan. Julia used a double-sided wool blend fleece for this cozy garment. We love seeing the contrast inside the collar, and the angled pockets are a great detail. Julia curved in the back seam a bit for better fit. She reports that the cut is rather straight; if you have a more hourglassy figure like hers, you may also want to make some fit adjustments. |
