Treadle customer Marianne stopped by this week with this amazing project! She sewed this wool vest just full of delectable details. Bound buttonholes, double welt pockets, custom label, and so much more. Marianne used Kwik Sew pattern 4257 with some adjustments. For the welt pockets, she followed the directions from Claire Shaeffer's tailoring book. Marianne also borrowed the pocket pattern from Burda 6351. This has been one of the most popular projects we've shared! Everyone has been so impressed with the level of detail in this garment. Marianne is not on social media so we wanted to make sure she got a shout out in this email. Well done, Marianne, and thanks so much for sharing! |

There's still time to pick up an oilcloth tablecloth for your Easter Brunch. We know, the holiday might be different than we hoped, but just because you're staying in with your family doesn't mean you can't make your table pretty! Our wipe-clean oilcloth is a no-mess way to add a cheerful pop of color. Rolls are 47" wide and we can cut to your perfect length. | ![]() |
THANK YOU to everyone who claimed a pattern cabinet! As of now, they have all been spoken for. This has helped us to clear out the space for what will eventually be our new classroom! We don't have a firm date on our return to in-person classes yet, but we will definitely keep you posted. A lot of folks have asked about pattern availability at Treadle since this change. YES, we will still carry plenty of patterns: Jalie, New Look, Burda, Butterick, and many others. The new Vogue pattern book is here! Stylish spring patterns, and always just $12, every day. |
