FREE-MOTION QUILTING Piecing quilts is fun, but what’s next? Forget trying to quilt perfect straight parallel lines and give free-motion quilting a try instead. This technique is unstructured and improvisational – time to let your inner perfectionist take a break! You’ll work on a practice quilt sandwich learning meandering, stipple, and curlicue patterns, plus whatever shapes you can imagine! Note: Your sewing machine MUST have the ability to drop (or cover) feed dogs. A free-motion quilting presser foot is REQUIRED. Skill Level: Advanced Beginner |

Here’s your chance to sew with us all weekend long! If you live out of town or just want to get a lot done, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Spend a morning and afternoon session each day Saturday and Sunday working on the projects of your choice. We’ll cover fitting, the best sewing techniques, and garment construction of all kinds.
