WARDROBE CAPSULES: KNIT TEE

Our focus is on a basic tee with a set-in sleeve and neck band. This will allow for comparison to future knit patterns-tees, dresses, cardigans, etc.

Session One: Choose pattern size and fabric, cut out, and sew or serge. Or come to class ready for your first fitting! It’s up to you what you want to get out of the class. Everyone will work on the same pattern to increase learning opportunities. We’ll cover fit, fabric selection, and serger or sewing techniques.

Session Two: Sew your garment, or come to class ready to fit for the first or second time. We’ll cover using this pattern as a block or toile, plus hacks using your newly fitted pattern.

MAKE CUTE SKIRTS

Cute, or stylish, or elegant. . . it’s up to you! Choose from our recommended patterns and suggested fabrics and make skirts you’ll love to wear. Get wild with trims and prints, or keep it classy in wools and silk. Use a classic style and work on refining the fit and sewing tailored details, or choose a simple style and make a whole closet full! Plus, you'll also learn how to add pockets to any skirt pattern!

Love the fancy designer leggings in great patterns? Make cute, fun, comfy, stretchy leggings yourself! A great way to build your knit-sewing repertoire.

Your sewing machine MUST have a zigzag stitch. A serger is optional, not required.
