Welcome to our Sew Together Space: a community gathering space for groups or individuals to sew and socialize!
Available during Treadle store hours at no cost. Feel free to drop in with no reservation, or call us to reserve a time for your group to ensure the space will be available for you.
Space will accommodate 4 to 6 people, depending on project. Bring your sewing machine, project, and supplies. Cutting table, iron, and ironing board provided. Please be courteous - limit your time to 3 hours and clean up your work space when you are done. Occasional special events in the store and group reservations may make space unavailable. Please check events calendar or call the store for availability.

This fun shirt is made without a pattern, but sized according to your measurements. How does that work? Made from 6 fat quarters of fabric, it gives you the opportunity to stretch your creativity by mixing fabrics. You will also stretch your skills as it works best in something drapey, like rayon batik or softer cotton voile. Need a little extra help with your sewing, but not enough to take a full class? This 2-hour block of time is a flexible mini-workshop on the project or technique of your choice.
