For the skilled sewist who wants to understand the easiest way to create an accurate pattern from their favorite garment. You would make a closet-full if you only had the pattern!

This one day class will get you there. Leave with a completed pattern and comprehensive notes to do it again.

Suggestions for order of construction given; strong garment sewing skills complement this intensive. This is a pattern only class - no sewing, so no worry about bringing your sewing machine.

There will be a break for lunch. Several options for a quick lunch are nearby or pack your favorite.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• Favorite garment you would like to copy * Note that a garment constructed from a woven fabric, rather than a knit will make learning the process easier

• Styling Design Ruler (available at Treadle)

• straight pins with a ball head, plastic or glass, approximately 1 1/4” long (longer pins will work if they are sturdy)

• pencil with eraser (no pens please)
  

• notebook if desired (notes will be provided)

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If your plans change, and you cannot attend a class, let us know as soon as possible by phone. We will refund your class fee in full up to ONE WEEK before class begins. After that time, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sometimes we must cancel a class. We will let registered students know as soon as we can. You will have the option to transfer into a different class, if applicable, or you may ask for a refund or store credit.
