Never sewn a zipper? Here's a perfect first project! Sew a super easy zipped pouch (entirely customizable in size & shape) and get comfortable with your zipper foot. We'll also be interfacing our fabric & finishing with French seams, so that's so many new techniques in one simple project!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• sewing machine in good working order, with bobbins and machine accessories

• zipper foot for machine

• Fabric: fat quarters or large scraps 

• Thread to match

• Interfacing

• 9" or longer zipper(s) - you may have time to make multiple zip pouches

• sewing scissors

• tape measure

• straight pins

• pin cushion

• seam ripper

• 6" seam gauge

• washable fabric marker or chalk pencil

• one package of assorted size Universal sewing machine needles

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If your plans change, and you cannot attend a class, let us know as soon as possible by phone. We will refund your class fee in full up to ONE WEEK before class begins. After that time, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sometimes we must cancel a class. We will let registered students know as soon as we can. You will have the option to transfer into a different class, if applicable, or you may ask for a refund or store credit.
