Have pants or jeans that need a hem? A dress or skirt that doesn't fit quite right?  This workshop will teach you tips and techniques for altering ready to wear.  Bring up to four garments for evaluation.  All projects you have questions about are welcome, as it is also helpful to know why something can't be altered.  Put new life into those clothes you haven't been wearing but love!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• sewing machine in good working order, with bobbins and machine accessories

• Up to four garments you want to alter

• Thread

• You may need additional fabric, interfacing, buttons, etc.

• sewing scissors

• tape measure

• straight pins

• pin cushion

• seam ripper

• 6" seam gauge

• washable fabric marker or chalk pencil

• one package of assorted size Universal sewing machine needles

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If your plans change, and you cannot attend a class, let us know as soon as possible by phone. We will refund your class fee in full up to ONE WEEK before class begins. After that time, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sometimes we must cancel a class. We will let registered students know as soon as we can. You will have the option to transfer into a different class, if applicable, or you may ask for a refund or store credit.
