The cottagecore look is everywhere. This soft, nature-inspired look incorporates layers, textures, ruffles, and a timeless, vintage feel.

Let's put a few fine details on the classic peasant blouse! Choose short or long sleeves, add plackets or cuffs, and customize to your shape. This sweet little blouse is cute on its own and even better layered with a sleeveless dress.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

• sewing machine in good working order, with bobbins and machine accessories

• Woven fabric - cotton, linen, or rayon (amount required by pattern)

• Cotton thread to match fabric

• Pattern Suggestions:

• Friday Wilder (raglan-sleeve peasant) 

• New Look 6621 (raglan-sleeve) 

• New Look 6704 dropped sleeve, gathered neck)

• New Look 6892 (raglan-sleeve peasant) 

• New Look 6891 (set-in sleeve peasant)

You will also need the following BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES:

• sewing scissors

• tape measure

• straight pins

• pin cushion

• seam ripper

• 6" seam gauge

• washable fabric marker or chalk pencil

• one package of assorted size Universal sewing machine needles

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If your plans change, and you cannot attend a class, let us know as soon as possible by phone. We will refund your class fee in full up to ONE WEEK before class begins. After that time, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sometimes we must cancel a class. We will let registered students know as soon as we can. You will have the option to transfer into a different class, if applicable, or you may ask for a refund or store credit.

MASK GUIDELINES for classes at Treadle Yard Goods

Face masks covering the mouth and nose are currently REQUIRED for all students during classes, regardless of vaccination status. We will work to accommodate those with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent wearing a mask.
