Sew Good Goods Events
Every second Tuesday of the month, we host a free event dedicated to sewing for others, in our local community and abroad. Past projects have included hats for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, face masks for hospitals, backpacks plus a school supply drive for local school kids, and baby blankets for a hospital in Uganda.

The baby blankets we made and sent to Ruth Gaylord Hospital in Uganda were well received and appreciated! See the letter below from the hospital director, Peter Kiggundu.
I would like to thank you, on behalf of the dozens of mothers who are receiving baby Blankets, for the love you have showed towards them. We are all very grateful for this generous contribution to the experience of receiving a baby in a warm Blanket. Given the superior quality of the fabric of this material compared to what we have on the local market, they are so popular and loved by the mothers. Thank you so much.

Sewing Socials
Twice a month, we host Sewing Socials in our spacious classroom. Take advantage of the space, time, and companionship at these fun community events!
The Friday Sewing Social is our evening event, usually held every second Friday of the month. See upcoming dates and register here!
The Tuesday Tea and Sew is a morning/afternoon get-together, usually held the last Tuesday of the month. See upcoming dates and register here!
At either of our Sewing Socials, you'll have access to our big cutting tables, ironing boards, and classroom tools while you sew with friends - away from the distractions of home! Laura or another of our wonderful Treadlettes will be there to facilitate.
