This pattern has a forgiving fit (with drawstring in the back!), sweet bib shape, nice wide legs, and plenty of pockets! Rebecca's choice of striped linen is perfect for this hot weather, and stripes are always in season. |

| Don't miss this back pocket detail! Rebecca cut a crosswise strip of the striped fabric for a decorative facing, and included the fringed selvage edge as as a readymade trim! You might also notice she decided not to match the stripes, ANYWHERE - it's less trouble, highlights interesting seam shapes, and gives a less fussy, more casual look. Don't sew harder, sew smarter! |

New Pattern Books We have new pattern books in the store from Butterick and Vogue. It's been hard to keep patterns in stock over the last year, so we are glad to see autumn styles arriving. We are also working to restock all our favorite patterns from Jalie, Folkwear, and Sew House Seven. |
